DEPARTMENT LEADERS TRAINING PROGRAM
​
The church has a responsibility to win the lost, nurture believers, equipped its members. At his parting, Paul exhorted Timothy set the church in order, to train new leaders, to be faithful and for the leadership to be solid. This training is for the department leadership and department officers of the Women’s Auxiliary, Brotherhood and Youth Department.

SUNDAY SCHOOL LEADERSHIP& DEPARTMENT PROGRAM

Training for Sunday school leaders and teachers cannot be overemphasized. Now more than ever, our teachers need training to impact the lives of students coming to faith and those mature saints of God. This training will help with the most basic educational principles and use the many tools in the tool-box of multiple courses, power-points, etc.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION TRAINING PROGRAM
 
J. D. Williams, Sr. Bible Institute Certificate in Biblical Studies is an 18-credit hour program and is designed for students who want to expand their understanding of the Bible through critical study. The curriculum emphasizes the study of the Bible, the history of Israel and the role of outreach and ministry. This certificate is ideal for anyone desiring to have a deeper understanding of Scripture and to be better prepared to teach others.

CATECHISM PREPARATION PROGRAM

 

Catechism preparation course is a study-arm of District III to prepare our brethren who is seeking to be licensed in the ministry. This program does not grant licensing, only preparation for the tests that will be administered and managed. From Aspiring ministers to seasoned leaders, this course content is available to all the ministerial body.

DEACON TRAINING 

 

Deacon Training program is a continuous improvement course of study for all deacons. This course and others are designed for deacon appointees and as refresher courses in several body of knowledge.

 

This course is broken down into 8 weeks and can be completed in three format:

  1. online reading of handbook and a weekly quiz completed online.

  2. Zoom attendance and quiz completed at home and submitted for grading

  3. Training by your pastor or Deacon Chairman at your local assembly, completion of a weekly quiz and submitted for grading.

 

At the successful completion of this 8-week course, participants will be granted a Certificate of Completion.

From deacon appointees, seasoned and established deacons, these courses are aimed to add solid and structural biblical knowledge in the Word of God
